Indian Idol 12 to undergo major change, will be more competition between contestants

Tv's famous singing reality show Indian Idol is considered to be a great struggle of tunes. This time too, singers are not lacking in entertaining people in the corona crisis. But let's say the journey ahead of Indian Idol 12 is going to be more challenging for these contestants now. Latest reports have revealed that the show will now have a major change in the elimination round.

Let us tell you earlier a singer was eliminated every two weeks and the final results were worked out by combining the judges' scores with public votes. Thereafter, 3 to 5 contestants with the lowest score were called on stage and excluded from one of the shows. But now the makers have decided to change this method. Now no singer will be out of the show for several weeks. But the twist is that after the contestants are not out for several weeks, the contestants will be shown the way out together.

This new rule has been introduced in season 12 called Powerplay. No singer will be dropped from the show in the coming weeks under it. Thereafter, as soon as the powerplay is over, the results will be based on the votes received by the contestants from the public. The judge will no longer have a character in it. Those who have more votes among these contestants will get entry in the direct finale. The rest of the singers will be dropped from the show together.
