ICSE Exam 2021: Board cancels 10th exam, 12th to be decided later

New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has canceled the ICSE (Class 10) exam due to rising coronavirus cases. Tell us that the final examination of ISC (Class XII) is postponed as before. Class 12 exam (offline) will be conducted at a later date.  Its new date will be released in the coming days. the final examination of ICSE or class 10 was to be held from May 4 to June 7. On the other hand, the final examinations for ISC or Class XII started on April 8.

the ICSE board decided to cancel the 10th examination, taking the CBSE's decision as the basis. The board wrote in one of its notices that, "The options that were given in the circular earlier have now been withdrawn. The safety and wellbeing of our students and teaching faculty is our top priority and it is paramount for us". Earlier, the board had decided to allow students to choose their way of evaluation. ICSE had said that the exam is optional for class 10 students. Students of Class 10 who do not want to appear in the examination will develop criteria for their results CISCE.

In view of the increasing number of coronavirus cases, board examinations for classes 10 and 12 have been postponed in Manipur. An official has given information in this regard. He said the 12th standard board examinations in the state were scheduled to begin on May 5, while class 10 exams were scheduled to begin the next day.
