Dehradun: For another ambitious project of PM Narendra Modi, the Indian Railways has completed the survey work. Connecting the Chaar Dham of Uttarakhand to the railway line (Chardham Rail Line Project) is PM Modi's ambitious project. Under this project, Kedarnath Dham, Badrinath Dham, Gangotri Dham, and Yamunotri Dham are to be connected through railway lines. Rapid work is being done by Indian Railways to complete this project on time. Railways have completed the survey work for laying the railway line between Gangotri and Yamunotri in this sequence. This survey has been done to lay a railway line from Doiwala to Uttarkashi via Barkot. The work of connecting Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham to the railway line is already going on. There will be about 125 km long railway track between Gangotri to Yamunotri. This project will be completed at a cost of about 24 thousand crores. For this, survey work started in March 2018. There will be a total of 10 stations in this railway line. This railway line will pass through 24 tunnels and 19 bridges. The Modi government is also working to connect Chardham through 4 lane highway. The construction of All Weather Road is going on loudly, which is to be completed by 2024.
