Table tennis players raised money for Corona victims

Indian top table tennis players Sharat Kamal and G Sathiyan will provide financial assistance to more than 130 needy people associated with the sport.  They have raised more than Rs 13 lakh in charity funds during the coronavirus epidemic. Initially his goal was to help 100 members by collecting one million rupees, but with the help of former player Neha Aggarwal, he has raised more than 13 lakh rupees and he will give ten ten thousand rupees to all by helping 130 members of the table tennis community. .

Promoters of Ultimate Table Tennis League Vita Dani and Neeraj Bajaj have also contributed. This amount will be given to the players, coaches and umpires Sarat said, "Earlier we wanted to help a hundred members but after collecting the money well, we have decided to add 30 more. We are taking donations till Sunday after which we will decide how many to help." Sharat and Sathiyan had earlier gathered in Chennai to help eight local coaches. Later Neha also joined them and collected money through 'Our Chance to Serve' initiative.

Initially, it was targeted to raise Rs 10 lakh to help 100 needy people through this campaign and the scope of UTT, which is playing an important role in promoting table tennis in India, now contributes to this campaign. In a joint statement, UTT co-promoters Vetadani and Neeraj Bajaj said, "UTT is not only playing an important role in promoting table tennis but also helping many of its stakeholders. At a time when life and livelihood are in crisis, such initiative is the need of the hour. We believe that our contribution will help the needy people and their morale will also increase in this hour of crisis. "
