CHENNAI: Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana said on Saturday that the Indian justice system should be Indianized for the sake of the country's citizens. He also stated that people should be able to relate to and comprehend judicial proceedings, as well as the progress of the case, and that efforts should be made in this direction. "It shouldn't be like singing mantras at a wedding that the majority of us don't understand," Ramana explained. Ramana, speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Madras High Court here, said that Indians resort to the judiciary in times of crisis because they trust the courts to preserve their rights. CJI said, it is vital to consider how to strengthen the judiciary's functioning and reach out to the public to meet their judicial demands. "This is precisely why I have been an outspoken supporter of Indianization of the court system," he remarked. He went on to say that Indianization of the justice delivery system is a multi-dimensional notion that involves shaping the judicial system for the benefit of the Indian people. "It calls for inclusivity, allowing people to participate in processes, removing language obstacles, improvements in practise and procedure, infrastructure development, filling vacancies, bolstering the judiciary's strength, and so on.” Lucknow will have emergency network for patients, says Deputy CM 'Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana' to start from this day, CM Shivraj will also be involved Pvt-sector capex picking up in H2FY23: Chief Economic Advisor
