Congress decided the names for civic body elections, BJP still in confusion

Indore: The code of conduct has come into effect as soon as the civic body elections are announced. Now all eyes are on the candidates. The situation is clear from the Congress side, but there is a rift in the BJP. There are dozens of contenders here but it will be interesting to see who the party organisation believes in. Here the guidelines of the organization also remain a hurdle in the way of many claimants. Due to this, the situation is complicated.

Indeed, Indore is the city of CM's dreams. Capturing the municipal corporation here is a big challenge for the BJP. Although so far, the Mayor of the BJP has been easily made, but this time the situation is a little complicated. This is because Congress has finalised the ticket of MLA Sanjay Shukla. In front of Shukla, the BJP will have to field a candidate who can take on him. It is also being said that whatever candidate will be in the BJP, the choice of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be important. They want to see the mayor of their choice in the city of their dreams.

Last time also, MLA Malini Gaur's ticket was given by her choice. They would not like to give the development of the city in the hands of any leader, which makes it difficult to get the work done. In such a situation, now the name is being sought on which to bet. If we talk about the contenders, there is a long-standing in the BJP. BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has already said a few days ago that there are more than 20 contenders in the BJP. The first of these is that of three-time MLA Ramesh Mendola, who is a special one of Vijayvargiya's. There is speculation of him becoming a minister again and again, but every time he is removed from the post of minister, in such a situation, it may be possible that this time the BJP will give a gift by making me a Mayor candidate of Dola. The second possibility is that of two-time MLA Sudarshan Gupta. He is not only related to Shivraj Singh Chouhan but is also said to be close to former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. Former mayor Krishnamurari Moghe is also in the race, though she has not been in the news for quite some time now. One thing is also coming out that the BJP will consider names that are out of politics. These can include doctors, engineers, lawyers, and people belonging to the social sector. If this is decided, the claim of a reputed doctor in Indore will be strengthened.
