Ahmedabad: Hardik Patel has joined BJP today. State President CR Patil has got him the membership of the party. Apart from Patil and Nitin Patel, no other senior leader was present on the occasion. Let us tell you that Hardik Patel had left the Congress party last month. He was appointed as the working president of Gujarat state. But Hardik alleged that he did not have freedom and rights to work. He had raised questions many times on the working style of the State Congress.
Hardik was given membership of BJP by state president CR Patil and senior leader Nitin Patel. No other senior leader, no central level leader was present on this occasion. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was also not there. Before joining BJP, Hardik Patel performed Durga Puja today. He also went to worship the cow. He also worshiped at Swaminarayan Guru Mandir today.
A poster of Hardik Patel was put up outside the party office in Gandhinagar to welcome him to the BJP. Hardik Patel had also tweeted in the morning before joining the BJP. He wrote in his tweet that 'I am going to start a new chapter from today with the feelings of national interest, state interest, public interest and social interest. I will work as a small soldier in the work of serving the nation under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji.
