Indore: Veggies, Fruits and grocery shops will now open from 6 am to 4 pm

Between the rising coronavirus infection and lockdown in Indore, fruit, vegetable and grocery shops will open from 6 am to 4 pm. simultaneously; milk dairy can be opened from 6 am to 7 pm from Wednesday.  All petrol pumps of Indore district will be open from 7 am to 11 pm. This gives further relief to the people. At present, these shops were open only from 6 am to 10 am, causing hardship to the people, especially because most people in the city wake up late.

There were also local reports that the growing concern that the small window given to purchase necessities was causing overcrowding in the outlets and thus increasing the chances of spreading Covid-19. 

Collector and district magistrate Manish Singh had issued several prohibitory orders under section 144 in view of corona in the district, and now some of these activities are being exempted for the sake of public convenience.
