Inflation, unemployment broken backs of people: Gehlot at mega job fair

Bikaner-Rajasthan:  The chief minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, said on Wednesday at a large job fair held by the state government that unemployment is the second-biggest issue facing the nation after inflation and that both the federal and state governments should make it a top priority.

"Unemployment is the biggest issue facing the nation after inflation. Since young people make up three-fourths of our population, they ought to have access to work possibilities, whether in the public or private sectors. This should be everyone's first focus, regardless of the federal or state governments "Gehlot said while addressing the public at the job fair.

"Governments have a duty to attract investment and alter our economic practises so that young people who wish to establish their own businesses can obtain loans. Investment opportunities should expand so that young people can have more employment prospects. If a government position is created, it shouldn't be unfilled for too long " he added. The chief minister of Rajasthan went on to say that he is quite pleased with the huge job fair since it has been able to give young people employment chances.

"I am happy that a huge number of youths are getting jobs through the employment fairs being organized by the state government," he added.
