New Delhi:- Meta has announced today that it is expanding access to Instagram subscriptions for all eligible creators in the following countries: Australia, Canada ,France ,Germany ,Italy ,Japan ,Mexico ,Spain The rollout comes after Meta launched Instagram subscriptions in January 2022 in the United States. The goal of Instagram subscriptions is to provide creators with the ability to earn recurring monthly revenue based on the support of their fans. Eligible creators must be 18 years of age or older and have 10,000+ followers. Creators can set a monthly price for the exclusive content they want their followers to see. Subscribers will receive a special badge to help them stand out in comments and inboxes. Meta plans to continue to expand access to Instagram subscriptions worldwide in the coming months. “With Instagram subscriptions, you can develop deeper connections with your most engaged followers and grow your recurring monthly income by giving subscribers access to exclusive content and benefits, all within the same platform where you interact with them already,” Meta wrote in a blog post. Subscriptions on Facebook are available to Pages in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States. Earlier this year, TikTok launched a new feature called “Series” that allows eligible creators to post content behind a paywall. In this series, qualified creators will publish collections of premium content and make access available for viewers to purchase. A series can contain up to 80 videos of up to 20 minutes each.
