New Delhi: The Delhi High Court will hear on Thursday the petition of senior Congress leader and former finance minister P. Chidambaram in the CBI case related to INX Media rigging. Chidambaram has filed a regular bail petition in the High Court. Judicial custody has also been challenged in the petition. Actually, the Rouse Avenue Court sent Chidambaram to Tihar Jail for 14 days judicial custody. Earlier, Chidambaram had withdrawn the petition challenging the CBI custody from the Supreme Court. Chidambaram is currently in judicial custody in Tihar Jail. Chidambaram has also challenged the judicial custody decision given by Special CBI Justice Ajay Kumar Kuhar. The court also accepted the applications filed by Chidambaram. These included a cot with Z-class security, a separate cell with bathroom and permission for medicines.
