PM Modi to launch pension schemes from Jharkhand on Thursday

Ranchi: PM Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to the country from Jharkhand today. In a ceremony to be held in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, PM Modi will inaugurate the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, Retail Merchant, and Self-Employment Pension Scheme and Eklavya Model School. Along with this, PM Modi will also inaugurate the new building of Jharkhand Assembly.

Earlier, PM Modi also started Ujjwala Yojana and Ayushman Yojana from Jharkhand itself. So far, more than one lakh farmers have been registered in Jharkhand for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. Explain that the Modi government had launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana in its first term. Now the government is launching the Kisan Maandhan Yojana in its second term. The scheme has been targeted to reach 5 crore small marginal farmers in 3 years.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, farmers will be given a pension of Rs 3,000 per month after the age of 60 years. Funds linked to this scheme will be managed by LIC. Farmers between the age of 10 to 40 years will come under the ambit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. In this, farmers have to deposit Rs 55 to 200 rupees per month. The amount of money that farmers will deposit every month in this scheme, the same amount will be deposited in the Modi government at the center.
