iPhone worth 50000 sold for 64 lakhs, know what's the reason for this

iPhone, which has been in the news for the value of its upcoming new model, is once again in the news, but this time the reason is not the price of the new model, but the 4-year-old model. Yes, the iPhone X of Apple launched in 2017 recently sold for Rs 64 lakh, compared to around Rs 50,000 in the market. So let's know what the whole matter is...

Here's the reason: Apple also offers lightning ports for charging in your iPhone. When the company introduced iPhone 13 with new looks and new features this year, it was expected that the charging pattern would be completely changed and will now feature USB Type C ports. But Apple didn't do that and once again launched it with the lightning port. An engineer then decided to change the iPhone. The engineer, named Ken Pillonel, also added features of the USB Type C port to the iPhone X he had. His experiment was successful and the phone now started getting charged through a USB Type C charger as well.

Uploaded to eBay after the change: Ken Pillonel uploaded the phone to the online shopping site eBay on November 1, 2021, for auction after the change.  According to reports, it received a low response at first, but later a man-made a maximum bid of $86,000 for the phone. Ken Pillonel uploaded it claiming that the phone could not only be charged through a USB Type C charger but would also make it equally easy to transfer data. Ken Pillonel is a Student of Robotics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
