IPL 2020: Sharjah became 'emperor of runs', made history's biggest record

Sharjah: The most exciting and high scoring matches of IPL 2020 are being seen in UAE's historic cricket ground Sharjah. On Saturday, the match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took place on this ground, in which these two teams together scored 438 runs in 40 overs. With this run-of-the-mill match, the biggest record in IPL history has been recorded at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In IPL season 13, only 3 matches have been played in Sharjah. During this time 5 teams have collided on this ground. Because in this IPL, Rajasthan Royals (RR) team has played two matches on this ground. In such a situation, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders have scored a total of 1303 runs in Sharjah.

During this time all these IPL teams have scored above 200. Due to this charisma, it happened for the first time in IPL history when all the teams have scored more than 200 in three consecutive matches on a field and have scored more than a thousand runs in the same number of matches. This record has been the biggest record of IPL.
