New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) have reached the top of the IPL 2023 points table. RR, led by Sanju Samson, won by 32 runs against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday (April 27). This match took place at Jaipur Sawai Mansingh Stadium. For RR, opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering inning of 77 runs off 43 balls, on the basis of which Rajasthan scored 202 runs. In response to this score, the Chennai team could score only 170 runs for six wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 32 runs. Suresh Raina, who has now played several seasons for CSK, has praised Jaiswal. Raina believes that Yashasvi Jaiswal will bring laurels to the country in times to come. Raina said, "His head position is excellent", as Robin Uthappa said, "he is very stable when he reverse sweeps. He plays shots very close to the body, even when he plays the drive shot, his head is still. When your head is stable you put a lot of power into your shot. Your swing also goes well. Especially his cover drive, he gives full respect to a good bowler and gives himself time. He knows how to take the game forward after the first six overs." Raina further said, "The sign of a good opener is that he attacks from one to six overs, then strengthens the innings between overs 7 to 11. Robin Uthappa rightly said that he is the superstar of IPL and will come. In the future, the name of the country will be illuminated."
