Is Manipur an excuse for Congress or is it making a new plan for 2024?

Imphal: Congress Party's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is going to start from Manipur itself. The journey is going to start from Imphal. This thing has been made clear by the party on Wednesday (January 10, 2024). It was also told that those people have not yet been given permission for the Palace Ground, but they will not let the Yatra stop or stop under any circumstances. They are going to complete this journey at any cost.

Party General Secretary KC Venugopal has said in this regard that - We have received information that the Manipur Government has rejected our request related to the Yatra at the Palace Ground in Imphal... When we are organizing this Yatra from East to West. , then how can we ignore Manipur? In such a situation, what message will we give to the people?

Recently there was news that on January 4, the name of its 'Bharat Nyaya Yatra' has been changed, which is going to start from January 14 from Northeast India to the West Coast. Congress National General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has said that this yatra will now be called 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'. Referring to the visit by Rahul Gandhi from Kanyakumari to Srinagar in January 2023 in September 2022, Jairam Ramesh said, “In the meeting of all general secretaries, in-charges, PCC chiefs and CLP leaders, it was felt that the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' A brand has been created which is embedded in the minds of people. We must not lose it.”

 

According to Jairam Ramesh, Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will start at 12 noon on January 14 from Imphal, the capital of violence-hit state Manipur. In this, Rahul Gandhi will address the 6,700 kilometer march twice daily during 66 days. Jairam Ramesh said, “Based on today's discussion, we finalized the routes. We always had Arunachal Pradesh in mind and hence BJNY will cover 15 states including Arunachal.”
