ISRO chief gives an update on Chandrayaan-2, said a big thing about the orbiter

Ahmedabad: Chandrayaan-2's Orbiter is working perfectly. He has also started his experiments. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief K.K. Sivan has given this information on Thursday. Sivan was telling about this in an event in Ahmedabad. He said that a national-level committee has been constituted to investigate what was the problem with the lander Vikram.

Sivan said that now ISRO's next big mission will be based on Sun. In addition, sending ISRO through an Indian spacecraft is also the goal of ISRO. ISRO is also building a rocket to launch smaller satellites. Sivan said that 'there are eight instruments in the arbiter and each instrument is doing what it has to do'. He said that "initially a year was planned for the arbiter, but there is every possibility that it will work for another seven-and-a-half year, which will help us in scientific trials."

Chandrayaan-2: All hopes of contact with Vikram Lander are over

Let me tell you that the lander Vikram has not been contacted since 7 September. There was a time of 14 days to contact him, but that too ended on 21 September. There was no heating instrument in Lander Vikram to withstand the wintry temperature of the moon. Pragyan Rover was also present in the lander Vikram, who after landing a soft landing on the lunar surface of the lander, would come out of it and land on the moon.
