ITF will soon start this work for lower ranking players

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has said that it is working on a number of measures, including a new relief fund, to help lower-ranked players affected by Covid-19. The ITF said in a statement, "The ITF is in the process of finalizing a series of additional measures to support stakeholders affected by the Covid-19, including players from 501 to 700 ranks under other relief programs. A relief fund is also included. " The statement further said that all the details to be given for the help of stakeholders will be announced in the meeting of ITF Board on June 2.

ITF President David Hagerti said, "We are doing everything under our authority to ensure that the budding ITF's budding players get the kind of help they need so that they can up their game Could continue forward. " Earlier, the ITF said that it has raised about $ 6 million to help the players suffering from Covid-19.

The organization had said that it is contemplating a 'player relief program' with the ATP and WTA as well as the organizers of the four Grand Slam tournaments (Tennis Australia, France Tennis Federation, All England Club and America Tennis Association). About 800 ATP and WTA singles and doubles players need financial assistance under the player relief program.
