Police beat students in the library of Jamia University, Commitee released video

New Delhi: A video related to the vandalism that took place on December 15 at Jamia Millia Islamia University has come to light. This video has been released by the Jamia Coordination Committee, in which students are seen raining on students present in the security force library. This committee claims that on 15 December, when there was an agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), during that time, the police showered sticks on the students studying inside Jamia.

In the video released by the committee, students are seen studying in the library, only then the police comes there and starts beating them. Books are also visible in the hands of students. The Jamia Coordination Committee has said in this video that the CCTV footage shows that the police force is carrying out state sponsored violence. Jamia's students were preparing for their exam in the reading hall when the police brutalized them.

At the same time, with this video, Delhi Police has said that some masked people are also seen in this video. The Jamia Coordination Committee has been making this video viral since Saturday. The police also say that investigation had already been handed over to the crime branch. All these videos will be screened.
