News portal used to do drug trafficking, Indore crime branch arrested

Indore: The Indore Crime Branch has recovered drugs worth Rs 10 lakh from the news portal operator Shahid Khan, arrested in the MDMA drugs case. The accused kept the drugs hidden in the car by making pudding in the seat cover. The accused is also associated with a major drug supplier and D company from Mumbai. Indore crime branch has recovered brown sugar worth 10 lakh rupees from Shahid Khan, an accused of supplying drugs under the guise of a news portal.

According to police, Shahid Khan, a resident of Hussaini Chowk Juna Risala, had been supplying drugs for a long time. The wire of the accused Shaheed Khan is also linked to drug mafia Mohammad Qasib, Junaid, Ishan Pathan, Faiz Sheikh. During the lockdown, the accused supplied MDMA of about 1.5 crores. He used to stick a news portal press sticker on the car and go to areas like Azad Nagar, Khajrana, Chandan Nagar, Sadar Bazar, Bombay Bazaar and sell drugs to the youth.

Police seized Shahid's car Xylo from Patel Nagar, Khajrana. Before being arrested, the accused punctured the car and left the car unclaimed. When the police checked the car, more than 100 grams of MDMA was found. Now the police is searching for his two accomplices.
