Internet service will remain closed for the time being. The administration has partially restored mobile services at some places in Kupwara in North Kashmir as a sum. Constantly reviewing the situation, feedback is also being taken from various security agencies so that the resumption of mobile services will not have any negative impact on the improving state of law and order. A senior official of the state home department said that apart from district Ganderbal and Bandipora, mobile is being considered in some parts of Srinagar. Mobile service can also be started in two towns of South Kashmir. Wherever the mobile service will be restored, the concerned consumers will be able to use it only till the exchange of information. SMS service can be closed for now. There has been no discussion about restoring internet service yet. The official said that the mobile service will first be restored in the areas where the situation has been completely calm and controlled during the last 33 days. Initially only mobile phones with postpaid service of BSNL will be restored. Later services of private companies will be started, but it is yet to be finalized. The phones of consumers who misuse this service will also be blacklisted.
