Jammu Kashmir: 108 officers sent to Ladakh on Deputation

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed 108 officers of various government departments and sent them to Ladakh. The order implemented by the General Administrative Department on Monday said that these officers will have to stay there for two years or till the last allotment of posts under the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act 2019. In addition to the General Administrative Department, the officers sent on appointment under the order implemented by Secretary Charandeep Singh will continue to receive the promotion profits at their department level as before.

Due to the appointment period, they will also get incentives under the rules laid down. The officials have been asked to report to the General Administrative Department of the Union Territory of Ladakh. Officers sent for appointment include nine from General Administrative Department, three from Health and Medical Education Department, three from Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Department, Law, Trust, two from Parliamentary Affairs Department, six from Water Power Department, Finance, Planning, Development, nine from the finance, excise and taxation departments and 16 from the surveillance department.

Seven from Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, four from Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, two from Business and Commerce Department, three from Housing and Urban Development Department, three from Power Department, 25 of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, eight of Transport Department, one officer of Revenue Department are included, three of the Culture Department, four of the Public Works Department, four of the School Education Department, and one of the Department of Tourism are involved. 108 officers have been sent.
