Srinagar: A tragic accident took place on Friday (January 20) late at night in the Kathua district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In which 5 people lost their lives, while 15 people are said to be injured. The injured have been admitted by the police to the local hospital for treatment. The police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem after filling the panchnama. Along with this, their families have also been informed. As per reports, the incident took place in Dhanu Parole village under Billawar in Jammu and Kashmir. Giving information, the police said that the accident happened when a minibus carrying them from Coog to Danny Parole slipped and fell into a deep gorge. Initially, 4 people died in this accident, while the fifth person succumbed during treatment. According to the information given by the police, 5 people including a woman lost their lives in the accident. There are 15 other injured, who have been admitted to the sub-district hospital in Billawar for treatment. The deceased have been identified as Bantu, Hans Raj, Ajit Singh, Amru, and Kaku Ram. Police have taken the dead bodies in possession and sent them for postmortem, and have started further action.
