A shocking incident comes to light from the Presidency University College campus in Itgalur near Rajankunte locality of Bengaluru where a one-sided lover killed a girl as he was not able to cope up with the rejection coming from the girl. As per the accused has been identified as Pawan Kalyan. He had stabbed the girl and then attempted to commit suicide by stabbing himself on January 2, 2023.

As per the information, the victim was a BTech student of Presidency University and was the cousin of Kalyan. He was in love with Layasmitha. During the investigation he revealed that he tattooed on his chest and could not take the rejection, he told the police after getting discharged from the hospital.

According to the police official, The accused Kalyan had gone to Layasmith’s college and called the girl out. However, after speaking for about 15 minutes, the accused stabbed her on the chest, abdomen, neck and hand. After this the accused also tried to kill himself. He injured himself. Kalyan was treated at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru. 

Pawan Kalyan was enrolled in the BCA course at Nrupatunga University. He was rushed to the hospital by the police after he got injured. He have the statement after recovering and getting discharged from the hospital. The police registered the case against Kalyan on the basis of Layasmith’s mother's complaint. During the interrogation, the accused revealed that he was in love with the girl. The lover had got Layasmitha’s name tattooed on his chest and could not take the rejection.
