Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik has said that the work done by the Jammu and Kashmir administration in the last one year may not have been done by the elected government either. Governor Satyapal Malik said this while addressing a program in Kathua. Governor Malik said, 'In the eyes of the country, the Governor is the one who plays golf, does nothing for Avam, during his tenure he just relaxes. But the work that we have done in the last one year, I do not think any elected government has done as much work. ' Earlier on Thursday, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik had warned those threatening the apple farmers in Kashmir to improve at the earliest, saying, "We will protect the farmers and provide them security." Strict action will be taken against those who are threatening the farmers. Governor Malik was addressing the people at the launch of the Market Intervention Target Scheme (Market Intervention Target Scheme) for apple farmers in Srinagar. Under this scheme, apples will be procured from the farmers through the Central Government's Nodal Procurement Agency or NAFED at remunerative prices. He said that 75 percent of the country's apples are produced in Jammu and Kashmir and the new system will promote this trade, which will increase the income of farmers tremendously.
