New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested TRF (The Resistance Force) terrorist Zahoor Ahmad Rather, who murdered three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Kulgam district last year. He has been arrested from Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. Inspector-General of Police of Kashmir Zone, Vijay told that a team of police arrested TRF militant Zahoor Ahmad Rathar alias Sahil alias Khalid from Samba in Anantnag on the night of 12 and 13 February. He said that TRF is the only organization of Pakistan-backed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has been retained by the IGP. A Kashmir Police official said that Rathar was involved in the killing of three BJP workers in Kulgam last year and a policeman in Furra in South Kashmir district. On October 29 last year, three Bharatiya Janata Party officials, Fida Hussain, Umer Rashid and Omar Ramadan, were killed in YK Pora area of Kulgam. There was a lot of uproar at that time and there was a demand for holding the murderer at the earliest.
