New Delhi: Severe tremors were felt in North India on Friday. Delhi NCR got scared due to earthquake here at 10:31 pm. It is being told that the impact of the earthquake was seen in Haryana, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir as well. According to the news, the epicentre of the earthquake was Tajikistan, where the earthquake intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 6.3. First came the news that the earthquake's second epicentre was near Amritsar in Punjab. It was informed by the National Center for Seismology that the magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale in Amritsar has been recorded as 6.1.
The meteorological department later denied that Amritsar was the epicentre of earthquake. According to the news, people moved out of their homes in Delhi-NCR after the earthquake. The panic of the earthquake in the Highrise Societies was clearly visible. Here some people were preparing to sleep, while some were eating. During this time, some people were also driving on the roads, but after the earthquake was felt, people stopped there. Experts said that the intensity of the earthquake was high, but the centre of the earthquake shows that no major damage has been done.
Meanwhile, this is the best thing and relief. According to the information received, Chamba, Dalhousie and other areas of Himachal Pradesh have also received sharp tremors. Earthquake tremors have also been felt in Jind and Ambala of Haryana. There is news of a loss in Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir.
