Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti have not been allowed to visit Pulwama. The Mufti was preparing to meet the family members of the terrorists killed in the encounter last month in Lavepora, Srinagar. Police say that a person with Z Plus and SSG security cannot be allowed to go anywhere in such a casual way, even if the visit is from a vulnerable area. The police said that the anniversary of the Lethpora attack is near. In such a situation, the former CM is being prevented from going there as a precaution. Mehbooba Mufti has shared a video from her Twitter handle in which she is asking the authorities for reasons to stop them from being prevented from visiting the Lavpeora area. She is telling the officials that, "Whenever I have to go somewhere, I am stopped like this. Do you have order documents, show me that" Mehbooba has also accused the house arrest by tweeting. She has written that, as before, I have been placed under house arrest again. I was allegedly trying to visit the family of Athar Mushtaq, who was killed in a fake encounter. A case has been registered against his father under UAPA. The man was asking for the body of his son.
