Bihar election: JDU MLA Rajkishore Singh resigns from party before final phase of polling

Vaishali: Voting for the last phase in the Bihar Assembly elections is scheduled on Saturday. Just a day before the third phase of voting, Bihar Janata Dal-United (JDU) led by CM Nitish Kumar has received a major setback. JDU MLA Rajkishore Singh has resigned from the party.

MLA Rajkishore Singh was said to be angry after not getting a ticket from Janata Dal-United (JDU). There was tremendous resentment among his workers too. Just one day before voting, he has given a big blow by resigning from the party, which can be seen in the voting. It is noteworthy that MLA Rajkishore Singh did very well in the last election. He defeated MLA Vrishin Patel by a huge margin.

In the 2015 Vidhan Sabha election, Rajkishore Singh was a candidate of the Grand Alliance on a JDU ticket and defeated Vrishin Patel of Hindustani Awam Morcha (WE) by a huge margin of 31061 votes. Two phases of voting have been done in Bihar and the last phase of voting is to be held on tomorrow, the results of which will come on November 10.
