Jaya Bachchan reveals Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t like her friends to visit their home

Amitabh Bachchan’s Grand Daughter Navya Naveli Nanda’s new podcast What The Hell Navya, the three generations of Bachchan women discussed their friendships.  Jaya also opens up on she has a group of seven women friends, whom she has known for at least four decades.

Jaya Bachchan said, "Your nana is like, he is the grumpiest. He will say 'I have to go up, excuse me, ladies. If you don't mind' and something. Actually, they are quite happy that he is not there."

She further said,  "Not conscious. They have known him for ages, but he has changed now. He is old also. You know you can be old old, and you can be old but not old." Navya and Shweta teased Jaya that she wants to say she is a 'young old' person, and the latter insisted, "Come on, I am not (an old old person). I can sit and have a conversation with an 18-year-old."

Shweta Bachchan in the show revealed that "All my friends were boys in college. They are just easier, less drama. I always have so much drama in my life that I need people who don't have drama in theirs so they can handle mine." 

Speaking about the podcast Navya talks to her mom Shweta and grandmother Jaya about 'various things from finance and fame to friendship and family' on her podcast. A new episode of the podcast is out every Saturday, on IVM Podcasts and other audio streaming platforms. Navya also revealed that she and Jaya often overhear Shweta's conversation while sitting together out on the patio and wonder what has happened now.
