Godfather is one of the most awaited films of the year, the film stars south actor Chiranjeevi. This movie also has the powerful role of Salman Khan. Recently the poster of South Sensation Nayanthara from the film was released and song from the movie was released. The actors are leaving no stone unturned for promoting the movie. On Saturday, Salman and Chiranjeevi addressed a press conference in Mumbai as part of the film’s promotions.

During the interaction, Salman told Chiranjeevi, “Your films are being accepted here but our films aren’t accepted there.” This prompted the south star to say, “We are here to take you. This is one of the reasons why I asked Sallu Bhai to come through in this film.”

Salman further added, “People want to go to Hollywood, I want to go South. The thing is once you start working together, just imagine the numbers we will all have. That is the main thing that people watch it here, people watch it in the South. You have all the theatres, fans, go and watch him, me. Even they become my fans, we become his fans. Everyone just grows and grows and the numbers become really large. We say ₹300 crore, ₹400 crore. If all of us get together, we can cross ₹3000- ₹4000 crore.”

GodFather is an official Telugu remake of the Malayalam movie Lucifer, starring Mohanlal in the lead. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, the cast of the film includes Lady Superstar Nayanthara, director Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev in significant roles, apart from others.  Helmed by Mohan Raja. The movie will see Chiranjeevi in an out-and-out action avatar. Although it is a remake, the producers have pledged to create a storyline that portrays Chiranjeevi in exactly the way his fans want him to be seen on the big screen.
