The national executive meeting of the JDU is scheduled to be held in Delhi today. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also scheduled to attend the meeting to be held at the party office in Jantar Mantar at 4 pm. Before this, at 11 o'clock today, the National President of the JDU is scheduled to hold a meeting of national functionaries with RCP Singh. Not only that, after this meeting, CM Nitish Kumar will meet JDU MPs at 3 pm and then a meeting of the National Executive is scheduled to be held. The meeting will be attended by top leaders from across the country JDU. Political sources say the JDU may get a new national president today. According to reports, a decision is expected at the national executive meeting convened by the party after the current national president RCP Singh joined the Union Cabinet. Bihar CM and party leader Nitish Kumar is in Delhi to attend the meeting. It is also being said that a number of major decisions may be taken in the meeting chaired by National President RCP Singh in the presence of Nitish Kumar, which is likely to change the post of National President. However, there is no official confirmation from the JDU. When asked a question by media persons to Chief Minister Nitish on his arrival in Delhi on Saturday, he refused to say anything directly and said that whatever the matter will be discussed. On the question of changing the national president, he said that we have just come, talks will take place and then we will tell after the meeting. Meeting at Jantar Mantar office from 11.30 am but according to information received from JDU, the National Executive meeting is scheduled to be held at JD(U) headquarters at 7 Jantar Mantar in Delhi from 11.30 am. The JDU meeting will be attended by National President RCP Singh party functionaries, national parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha, principal general secretary KC Tyagi, National General Secretary Ram Nath Thakur, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Ghulam Rasool Balyawi, Afaq Ahmed Khan, Ram Sevak Singh, National Secretary Vidyasagar Nishad, Sanjay Verma, RP Mandal, and Treasurer and MP Dr. Alok Kumar Suman, etc. The agenda of the national executive is to be discussed in the meeting.
