The cheerful host of JEOPARDY died at the age of 80. Alex’s wife, Jean Trebek just thanked all the fans for their lovingly support on Wednesday. A few days before the news was out that the Jeopardy host, Alex Trebek died following a battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Late Alex’s better half shared a photo of Instagram captioning it as, “My family and I sincerely thank you all for your compassionate messages and generosity.” The photo was of their special day, she continued writing, and “Your expressions have truly touched our hearts. Thank you so very, very much. Many Blessings to all, Jean Trebek.” The cute duo was married in 1990 and became the proud parents of a baby boy named Matthews is now 30, and daughter Emily, 27. Trebek firstly married Elaine Callie from the year 1974 to 1981. The 80-year-old joyful smiling face passed away on Sunday this year. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2019. Jean said that she noticed symptoms beforehand the doctors stated. A family trip was planned to Israel in December 2018, during that time Jean told Trebek “colouring seemed off.” She detailed this in a 2020 essay she wrote for Guideposts. After recommending a doctor and getting a CT scan, the family received this heart-wrenching news. In the wake of beloved Trebek’s death, so many tributes have poured in. Even some great personalities wrote messages including Ryan Reynolds, John Legend, and former “Jeopardy!” champ Ken Jennings.
