Jaunpur: A jeep falls in a ditch filled with water in an attempt to save the bike rider at around 11 am on Tuesday at Yadav Filling Station, Deh Asarfabad on the Lucknow Ballia Highway in the Sarpathan police station area of Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh. More than twelve people from the same family were injured in the accident. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and admitted all the injured to the hospital by ambulance. The family of Gapoli, who hails from Jatauli village of Kadipur police station area of Sultanpur district, was going to Baraud Sarayomuddinpur to visit the old Mata temple. In an attempt to save a bike rider in front of Yadav Filling Station on Lucknow Ballia Highway, the jeep driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle became unbalanced and overturned in a water-filled trench on the roadside. Due to the water in the ditch, all the people started drowning. Meanwhile, the villagers reached all the people in large scales and drove them out. Villagers gave 108 and 102 ambulances and local police information about the incident. On receipt of the information, the car of 108, 102 number arrived and all the injured were admitted to the Community Health Center for treatment.
