Srinagar: An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which a terrorist of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has been killed. The deceased terrorist has been identified as Kamran Bhai alias Hanis, who was active in the Kulgam-Shopian area, Kashmir zone police said. According to the report, this encounter started in the Kapren area of Shopian. Jaish terrorist Kamran was killed in a joint operation of police and security forces. Police said that the search operation is still going on in the area, as there is a possibility of other terrorists being hiding. Police had said that the terror module of Jaish-e-Mohammed has been busted. Arms and ammunition, including three AK rifles, a pistol and six grenades, were recovered from an oil tanker in the Narwal area of Jammu. He had said that the module was tasked with transporting weapons sent by a Pakistani handler from across the border to Kashmir.
