Ranchi: Tight security arrangements have been made in Jharkhand to conduct fair and peaceful elections for 13 seats in the first phase of assembly elections. In this regard, 71 company central paramilitary forces and about 15 thousand soldiers have been deployed in the Naxalite affected area. According to police headquarters sources, the movement of Naxalites and militants is being monitored through cameras from a helicopter during and before voting in Naxal-affected areas. Every effort will be made to ensure that Naxalites and extremists do not succeed in any of their nefarious plans. Central paramilitary forces are conducting a search operation against the Naxalites in collaboration with the local police. Kolhan DIG Kuldeep Dwivedi and DIG AV Homkar of Palamu Range have made special preparations for voting. After the incident in Latehar, special preparations have been made by strategizing after the alert about the Naxalite activity of the special branch. Both officials have instructed to run a search operation against Naxals and extremism. Giving information, police sources said that 12 companies of CRPF, 16 companies of BSF, 13 companies of ITBP, 10 companies of Border Security Force, 10 companies of CISF and 10 companies of RPF will be deployed.
