Ranchi: Two Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jharkhand's Seraikela-Kharsawan on Friday. Giving information in this regard, the police said that these Maoists were killed during a joint operation by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)'s Cobra, Jharkhand Jaguar and the State Police. Ajay Linda, Deputy Inspector General of Kolhan Division has said that two members of CPI (Maoist) were killed during an operation in Baruda forest of the Kuchai police station area. According to media reports, the Deputy Inspector General has informed that the security forces have recovered the bodies and arms and ammunition have also been seized from them. He has said that till the last information was received, the encounter between the security forces and the Maoists was going on.
