J-Hope joining the military on April 18

Recently, the band's agency broke its quiet when rumors of J-Hope joining the military on April 18 circulated.

Jhope Military Service of BTS. Depending on their respective schedules, the members of the most well-known boy band, BTS, will shortly depart for their required military service. Rapper Jhope is prepared to join after the group's oldest member Jin. There were reports that Jung Hoseok will depart on April 18 for his military training.

According to the Korean news agency News1, BTS Jhope will join on Tuesday at the training facility in the Gangwon Province. The rapper previously disclosed that his enlistment date was set, albeit he did not make the announcement. But, Jhope revealed during a tearful Weverse LIVE on Friday that he will be released from the military on October 17.

Jin, meanwhile, was the first boy band member to enroll in the military. In a front-line South Korean boot camp, he started his 18-month conscription in December.
