When the two leaders were asked about the meeting of the two leaders before the Cabinet expansion, they said that at the moment they came to thank Nitish Kumar who had helped him in their health-related matters when he was tested corona infected. This meeting had no political significance. However, when the question was asked about his old demand, he said that it has not been discussed with CM Nitish at this time. Manjhi said, 'I still demand from Nitish Kumar that during cabinet expansion, another leader from my party should be made a minister.' Another one should be nominated for the post of MLC. Jitan Ram Manjhi's party, as a constituent of the NDA, had contested the assembly elections in 2020.
