New Delhi: The Delhi High Court granted bail to Journalist Rajeev Sharma, detained by the Delhi Police for espionage for China. Police detained Rajeev Sharma in September, but his bail application was rejected by the Patiala House Court, after which he moved to the Delhi High Court. Rajeev Sharma is accused that he has been spying for China since 2016. He is a PIB cardholder and through his YouTube channel Rajeev Sharma has also put many videos about India and China, which have been watched by millions of people. It is being told that from the year 2016 till now, 45 to 50 lakh rupees were provided by China through shell companies to share sensitive news to Rajeev Sharma. At the time of arrest, it was told by Delhi Police that Rajeev Sharma was provided with documents of sensitive information related to the army. The police is also doing an investigation on the money that was sent to Rajeev Sharma through the companies of King She and Sher Singh.
