Ahmedabad: A person from Kutch district in Gujarat has been arrested by the police. This is the same person who had threatened to rape the daughter of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni on social media. Due to this charge, he has been arrested on Sunday. According to the information received, a case in this regard was filed at Ratu Police Station in Ranchi, Jharkhand. However, this threat was made when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered a 10-run defeat while chasing a target of 168 during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Some CSK batsmen, including captain Dhoni, became a victim of criticism from fans after the match. At the same time, some users made embarrassing remarks against Dhoni and his five-year-old daughter. During that time, Dhoni's five-year-old daughter was threatened to be raped and after this threat, security of Dhoni's house was also increased. Following this incident, Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and former cricketers condemned the incident and demanded the arrest of the person.
Now the man has been arrested. It is being told that Ranchi Police has been alerted as soon as Dhoni's daughter got threatened. After that, Ratu police station in-charge Rajiv Ranjan Lal took stock of the security of Dhoni's farmhouse, and a static force was deputed outside his house.
