Former Indian women's badminton player Jwala Gutta has asked wrestler-turned-politician Babita Phogat to withdraw her statement about spreading coronavirus in India. 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Jwala said, "Sorry Babita, but I don't think the virus looks at caste or religion." I request you to withdraw your statement. She said, we are sportsmen and we represent the country, which is secular and very beautiful. When we win, they also celebrate happiness and our victory is their victory. The former female badminton player has done another tweet after this. He wrote in his second tweet, religion does not teach, hating each other. Hindi is our country, India is ours. Babita had recently said in one of her tweets that more worries about coronaviruses remain ignorant of India. After this tweet, she started getting trolled. Babita later defended herself, saying that her tweets are for those who are attacking doctors and police and spreading coronaviruses.
