Kaimur: Voting has started for the first phase of voting in the country's state of Bihar. Voting is going on peacefully in all the four assembly seats of Kaimur. Live webcasting has been arranged at 175 voting centres. Corona guidelines are also being followed at polling stations. There is excitement in the voters here since morning. The collector said that if someone is found tampering with EVM and arrest is not possible, then direct shooting has been ordered. Polling for the 4 assembly seats of Kaimur city has started from 7 am. There are 1694 booths in the city, on which 11,39,873 voters will exercise their votes. 6014 voters have already voted through postal ballot. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm in Ramgarh, Mohania and Bhabua constituencies of Kaimur city. Voting will be held in Chainpur Assembly constituency from 7 am to 3 pm. To ensure peaceful and fair voting in Kaimur, the four assemblies are divided into 151 sectors, with 151 zonal magistrates and police officers being monitored. In addition, 500 PCCPs, 90 Micro Observers, 23 Sub Zonal Magistrates, 11 Super Zonal Magistrates, 5 Additional Super Zonal Magistrates and 15 Reserve Magistrates have been deployed.
