The national eligibility cum entrance test [NEET] had its results declared on June 4. The examination is conducted by CBSE, annually, for admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in colleges which run under the approval of MCI[Medical council of India] and DCI[Dental council of India] Kalpana Kumari from Bihar touched the pinnacle with achieving the All India Rank-1. Kumari scored 691 marks in the Medical Entrance examination, including 171 in Physics, 169 in Chemistry, and 360 in Biology. The second position was grabbed by Telangana?s Rohan Purohit and Delhi?s Himanshu Sharma with 690 marks. The third rank was bagged by Aarosh Dhamija from Delhi and Prince Chaudhary from Rajasthan with a score of 686 marks. The test was conducted by the Central board of secondary education[CBSE] on May 6, 2018, in 136 cities and in 11 languages. According to reports, 13.36 lakh students registered for the examination, out of which 12.69 lakh appeared and 7.14lakh qualified it. If the reports are to be trusted, the cut-off can be expected to fall but the competition would still remain tough as 1 lakh more students have qualified for the examination.
