Kanpur police take spectacular initiative, delivering oxygen to needy

Kanpur: Hospitals in different states of the country are full of corona-infected people. Health services have collapsed from millions of cases of corona infection approaching every day. The situation is that many patients are losing their lives due to oxygen shortage. In UP's Kanpur district too, health services have collapsed due to the second wave of the corona. Even in Kanpur, many patients are not able to get even oxygen.

Police have launched an initiative to address the shortage of oxygen in the district. In fact, Kanpur police have set up an oxygen bank in the police line. Oxygen will be provided to needy patients through an oxygen bank. According to Kanpur police, anyone in this oxygen bank can donate cylinders or other equipment on their behalf. So far, the Kanpur Police Commissioner has collected 130 cylinders. 85 out of 130 cylinders have been made available to needy people. The police will refill the empty cylinders and oxygen cylinders will be provided to the people immediately on demand.

Kanpur police have urged people not to need oxygen cylinders to deposit them here so that others can be helped. Officials said a receipt will be given to cylinder donors. After use, the cylinder will be returned to them.
