Vikas Dubey arrested in Ujjain, Mahakal temple guard identified

Gangster Vikas Dubey has been arrested in Ujjain, accused of brutally killing eight policemen in Kanpur, UP last week. Vikas Dubey went to visit Baba Mahakal in Ujjain when the guards there recognized him.

Absconding Vikas Dubey first reached Delhi-NCR in Choubepur, Kanpur, but after police rage, he again reached Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, where he was arrested by Madhya Pradesh Police. Vikas Dubey was seen on Tuesday in a hotel in Faridabad, Haryana. But when police reached there to raid, he had escaped from there.

The Special Task Force (STF) involved in catching the criminal has confirmed that the person seen in the CCTV in Faridabad was Vikas Dubey. After this, a high alert was also issued in Gurugram. From there, gangster Vikas Dubey left for Madhya Pradesh. He arrived to visit Ujjain's Mahakal temple where the local guard recognized him and then police arrested him.
