Kapil Mishra receives death threats, Delhi Police gives Y grade security

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Mishra has been given Y category security. In the past, he was accused of inciting a riot through provocative statements and after that Kapil Mishra had spoken about receiving threats to kill him. Now he will be provided with 24 hours and 7 days a week security by the Delhi Police.

Under the Y category security, the BJP leader will have 6 security guards posted. Outside Delhi and Delhi, these guards will protect them. Earlier, Kapil Mishra had demanded protection from Delhi Police. He claimed that he was receiving threatening messages from several foreign and native social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. They have been given security by the Delhi Police in view of the threat of life.

Let us tell you that on 23 February, Kapil Mishra gave a statement about the protests in the capital New Delhi and other parts of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). His speech has been described as provocative on behalf of many people and it is also being accused of inciting riots.
