Karan Johar breaks silence on NCB's drugs probe

Mumbai: Amidst the ongoing drug investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Karan Johar has released a statement on his social media in the issue. In fact, the filmmaker has given a clarification on the party video of 2019 in his statement. Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has lodged a complaint over the video and the investigation is continuing.

Karan Johar said that I had already given the clarification on the video of 2019 that the allegations were completely baseless and false. No drugs were consumed in the party. I would like to make it clear once again that I do not use drugs, nor do I propagate or promote it. All these reprehensible utterances have unseringly subjected me, my family and my colleagues and Dharma Productions to hatred, contempt and ridicule.

Karan Johar said that I would like to further point out that I do not know Kshitij Prasad and Anubhav Chopra personally and none of them are personal or close associates. Neither I nor Dharma production can be made responsible for what people do in their personal lives. These allegations are not related to Dharma Productions.
