New Delhi: Bollywood's well-known singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam died on Friday. He breathed his last at MGM Hospital in Chennai at 1.45 pm. Today, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam will be cremated with full state honours at Pakkam, 34 km from Chennai.

The body of S. P. Balasubrahmanyamwas kept late Friday night at his farmhouse in Red Hills outside Chennai, where his relatives and loved ones paid last visits. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami said that the funeral of S. P. Balasubrahmanyam will be done with state honours. CM Palaniswami said this in an official release. It is noteworthy that S. P. Balasubrahmanyam was found corona infected on August 5, after which he was admitted to the hospital.

S. P. Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to MGM Hospital after his condition worsened on Thursday, the hospital gave information about his health and said that the condition of the veteran singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam is very critical. After which his health deteriorated and he died during treatment. Many prominent personalities of the film world mourned his death.
