Veteran entertainment actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to become a maker for the first time with a sleek and new-age thriller. With the help of Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, the yet-untitled movie will be directed by Hansal Mehta, who has consolidated his situation as one of the most critically and commercially acclaimed directors in the industry since the success of Scam 1992. The collaboration marks the coming together of two strong women, Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, both of whom have paved their own paths and challenged the stereotype by making their own rules. Interestingly, the blockbuster 'Veere Di Wedding' was Kareena Kapoor Khan's first film after the birth of her son Taimur and will be her first film after her second child, incidentally, both produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. Inspired by a true life event, the story is set in the UK and the shooting will begin soon. Excited to become a maker for the first time, Kareena Kapoor Khan says, 'I am very honored and excited to work with Ekta as a producer in this film, which my family has known for years and is being directed by Hansal for the first time. I am a huge fan of Hansal's films and it will be special to work with him for the first time.'
